CADILLAC — Good news for foodies in the Cadillac area, an Indian restaurant is coming later this year.

The new owners bought the old Cast Iron Kitchen earlier this month and have been busy getting things ready.

The new restaurant will be called Indian Spice. The new owners are Sam Chugh and his nephew Paul Singh. Chugh owns NJ’s Grocery in Lake Leelanau where they serve Indian cuisine.

He said his nephew is a manager at Wilderness Party Store in Lake City.

Chugh said the restaurant will be both, dine-in and carry-out, and is expected to open in late November.

He said that is subject to change depending on how soon they can get everything done.
